UK Network Reliability Report
Plugging into a younger charger fleet
E.ON Drive Infrastructure operates one of the youngest charger fleets in the UK, with our oldest charger installed in October 2023. Our significant investment in both new and existing sites ensures a reliable charging experience for you. When you visit an E.ON Drive public charging site, you can expect the latest charging technology and excellent on-site facilities.
Support when you need it
Our Charger Operations team works around the clock and receives real-time information from all chargers. Our skilled team can diagnose and resolve issues remotely, often identifying problems before you even arrive. In addition, our sites undergo rigorous maintenance and regular inspections to maintain reliability and safety. We also use technology such as CCTV to visually inspect our network between site visits.

How can you contribute?
We are committed to providing an exceptional charging experience for everyone. You can help by:
Always parking in designated bays.
Being careful when driving in and out of the bays.
Returning the connector to its holster after use.
When returning the cable to the holster, ensure that the cable is behind the crash protection bollard.
Ensure that the cable does not become entangled in any of the bollards when it is returned to the holster.
Use the waste bins provided on site for proper disposal.
Report any damage or faulty stations to us; simply provide the charger ID, and we'll take care of the rest.
Reliability Data
We did not fully meet the reliability requirements of the Public Charge Point Regulations 2023.
We have invested significantly in new hardware, with our oldest charge point installed in October 2023. Over the course of the year, we also introduced enhanced software and proactive monitoring strategies to improve the early identification and triage of hardware faults. In parallel, we have worked closely with our service partners and suppliers to ensure repairs are completed within agreed service level agreements.
How We Calculate Reliability Data
We have calculated our reliability data in accordance with UK government guidelines. Certain events, such as downtime due to incidents beyond our control, are not required to be included in this data. For more details on the UK Government's reporting requirements, please follow this link.
