Having trouble paying in the app or directly at the charger?
Need help getting started? The guide below, along with short videos, will walk you through each charging method — via app, contactless payment, or RFID card.
How to add a payment method
Follow these steps if you don't have a payment method saved in your app profile yet.
Open the menu and go to Payment
Tap the menu button (the three lines) in the top-left corner of the app. Select "Payment Methods", then tap the red "Add" button.
Choose a payment method
Select your card type (e.g. Mastercard), and tap "Continue to payment details".
Enter your card details
Your card number, name, and expiry date are entered directly into a secure, encrypted form. E.ON Drive never sees or stores your card details itself.
Approve the payment
You'll be redirected to your bank to approve the payment. Most Danish banks use MitID and will briefly take you out of the E.ON Drive app. Some banks approve the payment directly within their own app. Important: if you're redirected to MitID, make sure to return to the E.ON Drive app immediately after approving. Otherwise, the card won't be added.

Card wasn't added? Go back to step 2 and try again. Make sure to return to the E.ON Drive app right away after approving with your bank or MitID.
