E.ON Drive launches EMP business in Sweden

On 1 October 2026, E.ON Drive Infrastructure launched its EMP business in Sweden: charging services delivered directly to EV drivers, with an app, subscriptions and customer care. The launch comes with the E.ON Drive Public app.

E.ON Drive Infrastructure already operates a growing charging network in Sweden. With the launch of our EMP business, the part of the company that delivers charging services directly to EV drivers, we can now also offer Swedish EV drivers our own app for public charging.

Swedish EV drivers charge in very different ways. Some almost always charge at home, while others rely on public charging every week. The app has therefore been launched with four charging products, so there is one for every need: Direct, Member, Plus and Premium. They range from paying directly at the charger with no app and no account to monthly subscriptions with energy included. Swedish customers can also earn SAS EuroBonus points when charging.

For customers in Denmark, the launch changes nothing. This news is for information, to show that E.ON Drive Infrastructure is expanding its activities in Sweden.
