E.ON Drive Public – a new app for public EV charging

Today, we are launching our first public charging app in Sweden: E.ON Drive Public

Swedish EV drivers charge in very different ways. Some almost always charge at home and only use public charging on longer journeys. Others do not have access to private charging and rely on the public charging network every week. That is why the app is being launched with four charging products, designed to suit different needs:

  1. With 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁, you pay directly at the charger, with no app and no account required.
  2. 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 gives you a registered account and a lower price per kWh.
  3. 𝗣𝗹𝘂𝘀 is a monthly subscription for drivers who charge publicly often, with 20 kWh included every month and a lower price per kWh.
  4. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘂𝗺 is a monthly subscription with 50 kWh included every month and a lower price per kWh.

You can also earn SAS EuroBonus points when charging with us: 50 points for every SEK 100 spent, with no subscription required. Read more about how to earn points here:

You can easily connect your existing E.ON Drive charging card to the new app (see instructions in the app).

Important information for existing customers: the current E.ON Drive app will close on 31 December. Download E.ON Drive Public and create a new account to continue charging with us.

E.ON Drive Public is available in the App Store and Google Play from today.
