Transparent EV Charging Tariffs Across Europe
Clear charging prices for DC and HPC fast charging. No subscription required. Choose your payment method and start charging immediately. In the Netherlands our public fast chargers for passenger cars carry the Essent brand. The tariffs on this page apply to ad-hoc charging at our charging points. If you charge with the Essent charge card or a card from another provider, the price comes from your contract with that provider.

Plug & Charge
Plug & Charge is available on all Alpitronic DC chargers across the majority of our network. It enables seamless charging with automatic authentication and payment via ISO 15118 - just plug in. Autocharge is not supported yet.
Who receives your payment?
Pay directly at the charger, contactless, credit card or via the QR code, and you pay E.ON Drive Infrastructure. We operate the charger and the price on the display is ours.
Use a charge card or app, Essent's or another provider's, and you pay that provider at the price in your contract. We settle the session with them afterwards.
Either way, E.ON Drive Infrastructure operates the charger. If something doesn't work, we're the ones who fix it.
Get 10cent discount with the Essent charge card
With the Essent charge card or app you charge at a 10 cent per kWh discount. It applies at the Essent chargers in the Netherlands and at every E.ON Drive Infrastructure charging point across Europe: more than 10,000 points in 11 countries.

Payment FAQ
I was a BP Pulse customer. What changes for me?
For now, nothing changes. BP Pulse remains an active roaming partner, so your BP Pulse card or app keeps working at these charging stations. You are also very welcome to try the Essent charge card.
Do I get a discount with an Essent charge card or app?
Yes. As an introduction, holders of an Essent charge card or app get 10 cents per kWh discount at Essent chargers in the Netherlands and at all E.ON Drive Infrastructure charge points in Europe. This is an introductory offer.
Who do I contact with questions about payment, my charge card or app: EDRI or Essent?
That depends on how you pay. If you pay directly by credit card, debit card, QR code or web link, the payment runs through E.ON Drive Infrastructure and our support team will help you. If you charge with a charge card or app, the payment runs through the provider of that card or app. For the Essent charge card or app, that is Essent.
Will prices change at charging stations that are rebranded under the Essent brand?
Our pricing is transparent and fully aligned with the European AFIR regulation. You can always see the current ad hoc charging price on the charger screen before starting your charging session or on our website. If you use a charging card, the price you pay is determined by the agreement you have with your eMSP.
Which app can I use to charge in the Netherlands?
In the Netherlands we recommend the Essent app. With the Essent app or charge card you charge at our charging stations and benefit from the introductory discount. You do not need an app: you can also charge with another charge card or app, or pay directly by credit or debit card.
